Who runs the BV Gaming casinos?

BV Gaming Limited holds the licence behind every brand in this guide. It’s a Gibraltar company, and its Gambling Commission register entry shows account number 39576. In October 2026, every licence on that account was active. They cover remote casino, bingo, betting and gambling software.

The business began as the Chandler family’s bookmaker. BVGroup says William Chandler set it up in 1946. Racehorse owner Michael Tabor took ownership in May 2014, and Victor Chandler stepped down as chairman. The group renamed itself BVGroup in June 2023, and it now describes itself as privately held and independent.

BetVictor is the group’s own brand. The others are partner brands that BV runs for someone else. Parimatch UK launched in 2020.

Heart Bingo followed on 23 September 2021 in a deal with Global, the media group behind Heart radio. Betano, owned by Kaizen Gaming, launched in the UK on 10 May 2024. The register lists these partner domains as white labels on BV’s account.

On 24 February 2022 the Commission announced a £2m settlement with BV Gaming. It covered anti-money laundering, social responsibility and fairness failings between January 2019 and March 2020. The package included a £1.7m payment in lieu of a financial penalty.

The Commission’s regulatory actions register shows no later action against BV Gaming as of October 2026. You can check the register entry yourself before you deposit. It takes a minute.

What does each BV Gaming casino offer?

BetVictor

BetVictor is the brand BV owns outright. Its general terms put a sportsbook, casino games and bingo under one account. Its offer rules allow one welcome offer per account and one per household. They also cap the real cash benefit from bonuses at £25,000 a day.

Betano and Heart Bingo set that cap at £10,000, so the gap only matters if you win big with promotional money. Before you opt into any offer, check that wagering is 10x or less. Betano

Betano belongs to Kaizen Gaming, but BV Gaming Limited runs it in the UK. Kaizen picked BVGroup as its main technology and core services partner, and the site went live on 10 May 2024.

Betano’s help centre says BV Gaming Limited operates the website, trading as Betano. So your contract is with BV, not with Kaizen. It’s a sportsbook first, with a casino alongside.

Heart Bingo

Heart Bingo is Global’s brand, named after its Heart radio station. BetVictor relaunched it with Global on 23 September 2021. The relaunch added new bingo rooms, slots and instant-win games from Pragmatic Play.

Heart Bingo’s help centre says BV Gaming Limited operates the site, trading as Heart Bingo. The register lists heartbingo.co.uk as a white label and hbingo.co.uk as an active domain. Both sit on account 39576.

The other brands on the licence

Three more brands share account 39576. We don’t cover them in separate guides.

• Parimatch UK, a sportsbook rooted in combat sports and football.
• talkSPORT BET, a sportsbook aimed at talkSPORT listeners.
• Smooth Spins, a slots site that uses Smooth Radio’s branding.

BVGroup’s brand page also names Wiz Slots and Puntit. Wiz Slots’ domain doesn’t appear on the British register entry, so don’t treat it as a UK sister site. Puntit’s domain and trading name are listed as inactive.

What carries over between these sites?

You open a separate account at each brand. BetVictor’s terms let BV act if you hold more than one account with the same BV brand. Behind the scenes, though, the brands share a lot.

• Your limits travel with you. BetVictor’s help centre says any limit you set applies across all your accounts on every brand BV runs.
• Time-outs and self-exclusion travel too. Heart Bingo and Betano both state that all safer gambling tools apply across all BVGroup accounts.
• Promotion bans can spread across brands. If BetVictor excludes you from its promotions, it can do the same on all your accounts across its brands.
• Welcome offers follow one rule at all three brands. Their offer terms say “Welcome bonuses are only available once per household, and for the sake of clarity, only one welcome offer is available per account.”
• Complaints end at the same place. If a dispute isn’t settled within 8 weeks, you can refer it to the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS).

The household rule is written brand by brand. It doesn’t spell out whether a welcome offer at one brand blocks you at another, so ask support before you count on a second one. The terms also don’t say ID checks carry over. Keep your documents handy, because each site may ask for them before you withdraw.

Which BV Gaming site suits you?

• If you bet on sport and play casino or bingo now and then, BetVictor keeps all three under one login.
• If you mainly play bingo, Heart Bingo is the brand built around bingo rooms.
• If you want a sportsbook with a casino attached, Betano and BetVictor both fit. BetVictor’s higher daily bonus cap only matters for very large wins.
• If you play slots only, Smooth Spins is BV’s slots brand, though we don’t review it separately.

Whichever you pick, your limits and exclusions follow you across the group. Moving between brands won’t get you round a limit you’ve set.
